Morning Comes
Morning comes…
All the dreams i had has sank into the night
And all the light
Is passing through the window
Blinking on my hair
Killing all the shadows
That were my first love.
Down the street
Numbers make the rules for all the men to play
They broke all mirrors
We never see our faces
Our lives don’t leave no traces.
Gotta find a reason to get out today,
Before the trip is over i should be off the train.
I’ll really be the master of my future time.
Morning comes, all the dreams i had has sank
Into the night.
All the light, is passing through the window,
Blinking on my hair.
Killing all, shadows that, were my love.
Morning comes, there’s a thousand pins and
Needles in my bed.
All the light, slipping on the floor to
Lightening my shoes,
To tear off, all the seals, on my door.
Down the street
Numbers make the rules for all the men to play
They broke all mirrors
We never see our faces
Our lives don’t leave no traces.
Morning comes many times.
Take it, don’t let it go away.
Morning comes many times.
Take it, don’t let it go away.
Morning comes many times.
Take it, don’t let it go away.
Morning comes many times.
Take it, don’t let it go… away.
