The Gradient Lake
Om Namo Bhagavate Vasudevaya
Like a dove, sitting on a branch
Reflecting on existence
I peer upon my former self
And interpret our affliction
We wade through fearless currents
But never fall amidst them
We close our eyes and dream the skies
But never wake to see them
This is an ode to the Sun
A technicolour kaleidoscope
Inhabits all your vision
Yet shattered greys define your skies
And consumes your erudition
Let comatose become your God
And your dreams become your being
Close your eyes, illuminate the skies
And then you’ll see a reason
Fragments of light cascade from our eyes
Yet we wear a blindfold
We sit below these blackened clouds
And forget what lies above them
Look upon your life with tangent eyes
Perception is our greatest gift in life
Embrace the dark, lose yourself in the Sun
Breathe the sky deep into your lungs
You are anything and everything
A never ending ebb and flow
You are your own creation
Touch your heart and feel it glow
Expand your mind across all time
And indulge in the elation
Merge your dreams with reality
And become imagination
Break free from despondency
And grasp your impeding sagacity
Eradicate the hallucination
Uncover the illumination
Observe
Observe yourself from beyond the void
Take in the light
Become one with your life
You are anything and everything
A never ending ebb and flow
You are your own creation
Touch your heart and feel it glow
Expand your mind across all time
And indulge in the elation
Merge your dreams with reality
And become imagination
