Warbound

At dawn, as first rays cast their light,
The men rose with the sun
And set out on their task
To join The Rebellion.
There echoed from the night
The threads of courage spun.
They’d not rest ‘till the
War was won.
Marching through the harsh terrain
Of mountains, rivers, wind and rain.
The elements would not subside
Their path of valor glorified.
Into their step, the men did put
The smash of thunder underfoot.
Through marshes wet and barrens parched
Their cries resounded, “Forward march!”
Warbound,
Forward they march,
Eager for the fight.
And they will claim victory.
Warbound brothers of the noble band,
Forward they march across war-torn land.
Eager for the fight with hordes of enemies,
And they will claim their lives and victory.
“We’ll shed their blood for valor!
Their ranks will fear our call!
‘Till our last breath, we’ll bring them death,
And as we rise, they’ll fall!”
Marching through the harsh terrain
Of mountains, rivers, wind and rain.
The elements would not subside
Their path of valor glorified.
Into their step, the men did put
The smash of thunder underfoot.
Through marshes wet and barrens parched
Their cries resounded, “Forward march!”
They arrived at the camp of The Deviancy
With the moon overhead, in the black of night,
And it stretched as far as the eye could see
With the clamor of soldiers awaiting the fight.
While men sharpened swords and readied shields,
Daron climbed a plateau to survey the field.
Republican campfires burned across the way,
The armies of which they’d engage come day.
Atop a rock Helveti stood.
All men gathered round,
And through that camp of burning souls
His words now did resound:
“We’ll shed their blood for valor!
Their ranks will fear our call!
‘Till our last breath, we’ll bring them death,
And as we rise, they’ll fall!”
At dawn, as first rays cast their light,
Revealed now by the sun
Opposing army ranks
To fight the Rebellion.
There echoed from the night
The threads of courage spun.
They’d not rest ‘till the
War was won.
